Lifestyle Balance was established in 2005 by Somerset business-woman, Lara Burgoine. She had experienced first-hand working excessive hours, spending long stretches of time travelling away from home, leaving little or no time for basics, such as domestic matters, nor for the fun things in life. Lara created this service in order to regain a ‘work-life balance’ for herself. It was clear the industry was very well-established in London, the USA and elsewhere, but as yet hadn’t arrived in Somerset. What was a girl to do, but throw in the towel of corporate life, with all the perks, financial benefits and security, and have a go herself! And so, Lifestyle Balance was born............
